It is our belief that preventing disease by far supersedes any modern and expensive treatments available today to treat the most common conditions. For example, early detection of heart disease and intervention can (a) reduce the number of medication requirements (b) prevent the invasive procedures that carry substantial risks (c) improve and maintain great quality of life. Although medications play an important role in disease prevention and progression, emphasis by far should be placed on healthy life styles.

Restylane is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin. Restylane is indicated for treatment of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Every time you smile, frown or squint you put stress on the underlying collagen in the skin which results in the development of facial lines. Restylane is a cosmetic dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the human body. Restylane maintains its shape using the body's own moisture. Restylane is free from animal proteins.

Botulinum Toxin Type A - BOTOX

Facial expression lines are created by contractions of the underlying muscles pulling the skin together when you smile, laugh or frown. An injectable protein, called Botox, stops nerve impulses from making the contractions. A minute quantity of the Botox protein is very precisely injected by a physician or trained aesthetician into the wrinkle with a very tiny micro-needle. Because the needle is so fine and only a small amount of liquid is used, the pain associated with the injection is minimal.

Chemical Peel

A mild chemical peel is a non-invasive technique for restoring wrinkled, blemished, unevenly pigmented, or sun-damaged facial skin. A chemical solution is used to peel away the skin's damaged outer layers. The new cells and collagen are stimulated during the healing process to produce a smoother, tighter, younger-looking skin surface.  Chemical peel can be used on the entire face or on specific regions such as the forehead or areas around the mouth. A peel does not eliminate sagging or excess skin. Each treatment is customized for patient skin type, specific problem areas and the delicate areas of the face.

Chronic Pain

Acute pain is a vital, protective mechanism that permits us to live in an environment fraught with potential dangers. In contrast, chronic pain serves no such physiologic role and is itself not a symptom, but a disease state. It is usually defined as pain which lasts beyond the ordinary duration of time that an insult or injury to the body needs to heal. This is commonly thought of as four to six weeks, although others have chosen three months as the dividing line between acute and chronic pain. The difference is more than semantic; pain that outlasts this period may be a harbinger of a serious condition, in which treatment delay may lead to an irreversible and intractable condition.

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are a major public health problem. If left untreated, they can cause upper genital tract infections, infertility, and cervical cancer. Also, if not detected, infections such as HIV and Syphilis can infected more and more people in our society.

The Approach To STD Diagnosis Is Based On:

History (new partner, condom use, history of STD, history of ulcers), risk factors (Young age less than 24, single, multiple partners, drug use), and symptoms (vaginal discharge, urethral discharge, pain with urination, ulcerative genital disease, and pelvic pain).

The Fractional CO2 laser is unique in several ways, but most unique in the way it delivers the laser treatment.
